The rules for using erece.co.za.
By using erece.co.za you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The site is operated by ERE Consulting Engineering (ERECE), Northern Suburbs, Cape Town, South Africa (info@erece.co.za).
Information Only
Content on this site, including the Insights articles and project descriptions, is general information. It is not engineering advice and must not be relied on for design, safety, compliance, or investment decisions.
No Engineering Advice Until Engaged In Writing
An engineering relationship begins only when ERECE and the client sign a written proposal or agreement that sets out the scope, deliverables, and fees. Nothing on this site, and no enquiry or initial call, creates that relationship.

Text, images, graphics, the ERECE name, and the logo belong to ERECE or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for personal or internal business reference. You may not copy, republish, or use them commercially without written permission. Third-party names and standards mentioned belong to their owners.
Acceptable Use
Do not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, send malicious code, or use the contact form for spam.

We aim to keep the site accurate and current but give no warranty that it is complete, error-free, or always available. We may change or remove content at any time.

Limitation Of Liability
To the extent the law allows, ERECE is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, this site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 where it applies.

Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal information.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and South African courts have jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date below shows the latest version. Last updated: 3 November 2026.
Talk And Call Booking Terms
1. Booking And Invoice
Submitting the booking form is a booking request. ERECE emails an invoice for the selected talk or call to the email address given. The invoice states the service, the length and the amount due.
2. Payment
Payment is by EFT to the account shown on the invoice, using the invoice number as the reference. Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date and, in all cases, before the talk or call takes place. Bank details are only valid if they match the invoice; confirm any change by telephone on 084 234 4090 before paying. VAT is not applicable.
3. Confirmation After Payment
A date and time are held, not confirmed, until payment has cleared. ERECE confirms the booking by email once payment reflects. If payment has not cleared within 7 days of the invoice, the held date may be released without further notice.
4. Rescheduling
A confirmed booking may be rescheduled once, free of charge, if the request is made in writing to info@erece.co.za at least 14 days before a talk or at least 24 hours before a call. The new date must fall within 6 months of the original date. Later requests are treated as a cancellation. If ERECE must reschedule because of illness, emergency or events beyond its control, it will offer a new date or, at the client’s choice, a refund of the amount paid.
5. Cancellation
Cancellations must be made in writing to info@erece.co.za. Consultation calls are not refunded once booked and paid. For talks: more than 30 days before the date, 50% of the amount paid is refunded; 30 days or less before the date, no refund is given. Travel or other costs already incurred are not refunded.
6. Content And Recording
Talk content is general technical information, not engineering advice for a specific project. The talk may not be recorded, streamed or published without ERECE’s written consent.
7. Your Information
Booking details are used only to manage the booking and are handled as described in the privacy notice.
8. Law
These booking terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Nothing in them limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
